…is that there is no Obama health care plan. From a legislative standpoint, this may be a good strategy, but it reveals that Obama’s goal is not to achieve some particular policy goals, but simply to achieve a legislative victory.This suggests, to me, one of two possibilities. One is that Obama doesn’t care about substantive health care reform. That is, possibly he has no actual interest in making health care more readily available, less expensive, etc., and only cares about the bragging rights, about being able to put on his resume that he accomplished something Democrat presidents have been failing to achieve for over half a century.
